Xiangtan Mineral Chemicals Factory is one of the largest potassium nitrate and potassium chlorate plants in China. It is a state-owned medium-sized chemical enterprise which mainly manufacture more than 10 products such as industrial potassium nitrate, potassium chlorate, urea-formaldehyde resin, high performance penetrating agent, cleaner for boiler dust, etc. Now the factory ownes 70,000,000 yuan fixed assets, covers an area of more than 100,000 square metres, and employs 457 persons, including 97 engineers and technicans. It produces 10000 tons industrial potassium nitrate and 6000 tons potassium chlorate per year. Its Coral Brand potassium chlorate and potassium nitrate, which has been respectively awarded the Province Excellent Product and the Excellent Product by the Ministry of Chemical Industry, is exported to USA, Brazil, East Europe and Southeast Asia. Its sales revenue is over 68,000,000 yuan and its annual profit and tax is over 5,000,000 yuan.

At present, Xiangtan Mineral Chemical Factory seeks foreign investors for 10000t/y sodium chlorate project and 2000t/y 2,4(2,6)-dimethylanline project. Our infrastructure such as water, electricity and stream supply have been set up. There is a power supply of 800 KVA, a water supply of 100 tons per hour, and a boiler of 6 tons per hour.

Its investors will enjoy the benefit of preferential policies of Xiangtan City, one of the State Optimum Capital Structure Experimental Cities. We hope to cooperate with potential investors on the basis of mutual trust, mutual benefit, cooperation and development.

Product: 2,4(2,6)-dimethylaniline is one kind of important organic chemical products. As the intermediate of several fine chemicals, it is widely used on producing pesticide, medicine, animal drug, sensitive material, dye, etc.
Market: The amount demanding in Chinese market will be 4000 tons,but the production now is only 400 tons.
Competitive Advantages: Having been permitted by the State Economy & Trade Committee and the Ministry of Chemical Industry. The equipment used for the project are advanced in the world in 1990s. There is 3,000,000 cubic metre hydrogen gas in the production of potassium chlorate per year.
