Hi,
I'm with a problem when I configure a DBF server on my machine. My files (DBF) are on directory d:\dbf. I follow all the steps on the tutorial (http://www.hxtt.com/dbf/advanced.html#daemon) to do the service for hxtt service, it starts ok, but when i try to connect to the server I get the message: java.sql.SQLException: Failed to connect to remote database: java.sql.SQLException: A remote server without expectable version on port 8029of localhost/127.0.0.1. This is the code of my application of test: import java.sql.*; public class AcessaDBF { public static void main(String[] args) { try { String conexao = "com.hxtt.sql.dbf.DBFDriver"; Class.forName(conexao).newInstance(); String url = "jdbc:dbf://localhost:8029/D:/DBF"; String sql = "SELECT PLA_NMDESC FROM MEDPLA ORDER BY PLA_NMDESC"; Connection conn = DriverManager.getConnection(url); Statement stmt = conn.createStatement(); ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery(sql); while (rs.next()) { String coluna = rs.getString("PLA_NMDESC"); System.out.println(coluna); } rs.close(); stmt.close(); conn.close(); } catch (Exception e) { System.out.println("Oops-> " + e); } } } This is the content of my file urlconfig.properties: # #Mon May 14 15:34:20 GMT-03:00 2007 medsys_autorun=false medsys_log=false medsys=jdbc\:dbf\:/d\://dbf I'm using the version 3.0 of the DBF jar. Please, help-me... Thanks and Regards, Joval Jnior | ||

Are you using the same package at the server side and client side? >medsys_autorun=false >medsys_log=false >medsys=jdbc\:dbf\:/d\://dbf It should be: medsys_autorun=true medsys_log=false medsys=jdbc\:dbf\:localhost\:8029//D\:/DBF You can read DBAdmin to start and test a remote service through GUI first, then use service mode. |
