Hi, after doing some tests, my customer has purchased your product. Today I finally finished the testing phase and I created .jar
When I run the .jar I get the following error: ... Need Cobol source code files, Copybook files, file ... FD
I put in the program directory this definition files. If you launch from eclipse (on osx) the program works well.
When I make the exports in. jar in windows tells me the error. How can I do?

What's your jdbc url? You should put th FD file with the data file in the same directory.

I guess that maybe you're using the relative path, and you can try the absolute path. For instance,
jdbc:cobol:////usr/adatadirectory

I thought that the driver read the program directory...not url.

If you wish to read program directory, you can try jdbc:cobol:/.

Where's FD file? ./ is the relative directory.

My datafile url is: jdbc:cobol:///c:/omg/apl/f/abana001
but my program dir is: c:/sendInvoice/
I would like to store my FD and SEL file in c:/sendInvoice .... It's possible?

It's impossible now. But we can consider adding a connection property, for instance, fileDescriptionPath, to let HXTT Cobol can do it. What's your suggestion?

I think the fileDescriptionPath is the best solution for me.

v2.0.060 provides FDDIR connection property to assign a different file description directory with data directory. For instance, jdbc:cobol:///c:/omg/apl/f/abana001 ?FDDIR=c:/sendInvoice
tableName.fileDescriptionExtension can be used to match tableNameDDD.fileExtension data file. For instance, ABANA.FD can be used to match ABANA777.dat file.
