If I try to query information from a CD with the DBF on it, I get a java.io.IOException (read-only file) looking for /mnt/cdrom/doculex5.INDICIES.
Is there a way to get around this? Has anyone seen this?

Don't worry. We haven't considered there're still some history data with INDICIES format on CD, so that the automatical conversion for INDICES format to CGP format will fail because CD is readonly media.
