Our datafield contains blank space characters created by an external system. The HXTT DBF with locktype DBASEIV appears to load the field and automatically convert to null. Is it possible to load the field so it contains the actual blank spaces ?

All Xbase applcations will ignore all blank spaces after a string value. You can use where yourColumn=null or yourColumn='' to find datafield filled with blank spaces.

For instance, select datafield+'' from your table if you won't to see null.
