We've encountered a problem when using the HXTT DBF driver (version 4.0.013, but the problem occurs with earlier versions as well). We are joining over a text column that contains non-ASCII characters.
We separated out a pair of tables, two records each, that demonstrate the problem - HXTT DBF performs the join incorrectly.
It is interesting that we find the problem only when running on Linux. On Windows, it works o.k. We tried the Sun JRE, both 1.5 and 1.6.
We will email the data files to support@hxtt.com shortly.
Here is a short ant build file:
userid="" password=""
print="true" encoding="utf-8">
SELECT oso_id, koljme FROM vav_kol_oso_kat;
SELECT koljme, jmeno FROM vav_kol_oso_vys;
SELECT b.oso_id AS oso_id, b.koljme koljmeb, a.koljme koljmea, jmeno AS jmeno FROM vav_kol_oso_vys a , vav_kol_oso_kat b where a.koljme=b.koljme;
If we run the script on Windows we get (the join is o.k. here):
[sql] Executing commands
[sql] OSO_ID,KOLJME
[sql] -84291,Novotný, I.
[sql] -84361,Novotný, T.
