Hi, sometimes, when I try to update DBF, I get this exception :

"Failed to update Record 421478 because of corrupted index file. For more information, please use SQLException.getNextException()"

How can I prevent this exception ???

Environment : SCO Unix, FoxPlus DBF, IDX index files...

Thanks,

Oscar

1st. Please use the latest version to avoid all known bugs.
2nd. Please run "reindex all on thatTable";
3rd. Please use lockType=FOXPRO4UNIX connection property to let HXTT DBF and SCO Foxpro do concurrent modification.

If you sawthat error prompt in your code, you can use
do {
System.out.println(sqle.getMessage());
System.out.println("Error Code:" + sqle.getErrorCode());
System.out.println("SQL State:" + sqle.getSQLState());
sqle.printStackTrace();
}
while ( (sqle = sqle.getNextException()) != null);
to see more.
If you sawit in DBAdmin console, the latest version should have printout all nextException.
The latest version is v4.2.205 wich was released on January 07, 2011. But the v4.2.002 was released on September 23, 2008.

v4.2.205 also includes DBF_JDBC30.jar for SCO JVM 1.4 support.
