HXTT DBF
Column names with german umlaut

Hi,

One of our customers is using a DBF file with a column name that contains the German umlaut.
On windows this works without problems, but on Linux and Mac, the column name displays differently.

I guess this is an encoding issue.
Is there a setting I can do to work with this column?

Rob

You can try charSet connection property.
charSet:To specify a Character Encoding Scheme other than the client default. You can find a Supported Encodings list of file:///c|/jdk1.2/docs/guide/internat/encoding.doc.html. Cp895(Czech MS - DOS 895), Cp620(Polish MS - DOS 620) and Mazovia are extra supported although JVM doesn't support those.
