Value from Excel is double instead of integer

I have an excel sheet with a column that contains the value '1234' as well as some other data (not numbers). The type is recognized as JAVA_OBJECT, as I'd expect. Unfortunately, the getObject() and getString() methods from ResultSet return a Double object resp. the string "1234.0", while I have never specified the field to be a double. I would expect either a String or an Integer object from getObject(), and "1234" from getString(). Is there a way to fix or change this behaviour?

Checked. Because the stored value is a double value in fact, and MS Excel will round and show an int value for that default format. Please download the latest package, which will round automatically to int value for that defalut format.
