I've been doing some testing for our code using the Excel Driver and I have another 2 possible bugs. I'll send them separately.
I formatted some decimal numbers as Percentage (2dp) and a select cannot see them - they appear to be NULL.
If I edit the spreadsheet and change the format back to Number then they are read in correctly again.
This is on the Workbook LazyTest2.xls which I shall email to you.
The Percentage column is on the "Formatting" Sheet.
Checked. The latest version will show
SELECT Percentage from "LazyTest2.xls"."Formatting";
Percentage JAVA_OBJECT 0 0 0
The total row number of resultset: 6
It seems normal.
I have the latest version:
Excel JDBC 4.0 Package
Implementation-Vendor: Hongxin Technology & Trade Ltd.
Implementation-Version: 4.0.025 on August 15, 2011
can you try
SELECT count(*), count(Percentage), min(Percentage), max(Percentage) from "LazyTest2.xls"."Formatting";
I get resultset.next() returning false.
Checked. It will return:
6 6 0.012 1.234
The total row number of resultset: 1
Thanks - that works perfectly
