HXTT Excel
JDBC 4.0 shows as JDBC 3.0 in DriverName

Using Squirrel SQL, the value of the getDriverName is "HXTT Excel JDBC Driver -- A Type 4 JDBC3.0 driver for MS Excel 95/97/98/2000/2001/XP/2002/2003/2004/2007/2010"

Shouldn't it say: "HXTT Excel JDBC Driver -- A Type 4 JDBC4.0 driver for MS Excel 95/97/98/2000/2001/XP/2002/2003/2004/2007/2010"?

I'm using the "Excel_JDBC40.jar" file as specified in my classpath. I want to make sure I have the correct version.

Don't worry. Because Squirrel SQL store driver information in XML a few years ago, and doesn't update in time. Now HXTT Excel has provided JDBC4.0, JDBC4.1 driver too. You have the correct JDBC4.0 version.

I get the same driver name string from Oracle's Data Integrator, I don't think this is stored in an XML file with in the java client it would appear to be stored in the HXTT driver.

This information is given from Oracle Data Integrator:
Database product name : HXTT Excel
Database version : HXTT Excel Version 4.1
JDBC Driver's name : HXTT Excel JDBC Driver -- A Type 4 JDBC3.0 driver for MS Excel 95/97/98/2000/2001/XP/2002/2003/2004/2007/2010
JDBC Driver's version : Version 4.1
JDBC Driver's major version number : 5
JDBC Driver's minor version number : 1
